Support us

help us make a difference!

Te Kāhui would not be possible without the incredible support of our community donors and funders. We’ve had exceptional community supporters, champions and cheerleaders over the years.

Looking back on 2025-2026, we’d like to give a massive thank you to the 80 people who supported the Keep Te Kāhui Flying Boosted Fundraiser in September 2025. Your belief in our kaupapa helped Te Kāhui continue to deliver high-quality, regular in-person creative writing workshops in Tāmaki Makaurau and return to sites in Waikato and Christchurch. We also continued remote programming in correctional facilities across the motu, adding a new site to our reach.

In the last year, 2025-2026, we received support from these funders

  • Auckland Council

  • Waitematā Local Board

  • SkyCity Community Trust

  • Creative NZ

Thank you for trusting us to deliver meaningful creative arts programming for underserved rangatahi and communities across the motu! And thank you to all the contributors who have supported Te Kāhui across our journey, ever since the planting of the seed with Youth Arts New Zealand in 2019.
